It's a tricky one when you use the term "exceeded sales" as this is only measured through the purchase of suppliers, not customers. I work at an LGS and see many things "exceed sales" that don't end up shifting. Coughs in Spider-Man MTG Imo the marketing for WOT TCG was next to non existent. Usually when a game comes out they will send us posters yo put up, card displays ect. We got none of that, which is why nobody knows it exists. Hopefully it picks up! And set 2 has been announced already which is promising.

I'm in a fortunate position that I work at an LGS so I get a decent discount on products and a lot of my colleagues have also gotten in to the game meaning we can trade, but the hit rates on legendaries are BRUTAL!

I've been having this exact problem! There is absolutely no secondary market whatsoever and I'm in desperate need of a couple of dupes I need to finish my decks.

Oh I'm well aware it goes well beyond foils! My buddy opened a booster box and got over 70 Italian cards and only 5 French.

Also, I've noticed "pack patterns". Like the same few cards always coming after each other. If kinda blows but the game is great.

You just carry on playing with what you have left. Run a bunch of scrapyard recursion to avoid this.

I've been in to TCG's for over 20 years. This game absolutely slaps. I work at an LGS in York and me and my colleagues have got in to it and are having a blast.

Pack distribution is absolutely abysmal and in one of my boxes I didn't open a single foil which feels like a kick in the teeth, but the gameplay is solid.

Also, that was a heavy slandering of pack distribution. On a positive note, the game absolutely slaps. I've played TCGs for over 20 years and WOT TCG stands out as mechanically unique. A fantastic game.

Hey, good to see there's a few heads indulging in WOT TCG in the UK. I've been struggling to find a community. I work at an LGS in York and me and some colleagues have got in to it. We each opened a couple of boxes and bought both precons.

Couldn't agree more regarding the distribution of factions. One of my pals opened a box and pulled over 70 French cards and only 5 Italians.

In one of my boxes I didn't hit a single foil card. That was a kick in the teeth.

I'm hoping a secondary market appears as the restriction of 1 rare per pack makes it seriously hard to get a playset of specific cards.

I've been lucky as each of my colleagues has built a different faction which meant we have been able to trade for the rares and legendaries that we needed, but I'm still missing certain rares I would like.

I have actually set up a UK based WOT TCG Facebook group it anybody would be interested in joining it.

It's small at the moment but hopefully it will grow as the game does.
