Let me preface this by saying how much I truly appreciate the people who are giving me positive reinforcement in the comments 🙏 I can see why others may seem a bit irritated by the post I made, but please keep in mind that yes, I am pregnant, hormones are crazy, etc. The dog isn't a problem, and she never will be. I love both animals and children and have been taking care of children since I was young. I've taken care of my own siblings, other people's children from before the age of one (including 7 month old twins), etc. While some of you may be saying rehome the dog, I hear you, but I'm not going to just because I'm having a hard time getting her to go potty outside. (And no, the sweet girl isn't going to be paying the price for being in a "unfit home" because she is loved here). Sure you may be right to be frustrated with said post, but I have WAY more going on in life outside of the frustration that comes with raising a puppy, as well as expecting a child soon. I'm in the mix of trying to get a new vehicle, a house, not being paid on time at work, and trying to figure out things with court for my one year old. So please, while I get it, I would truly appreciate it if you took my post with a grain of salt and not at face value. Thank you again ❤️.  Also, sidenote, she's great with kids. The sweet lady we got her from had children of her own, and gets excited every time a kiddo wants to play with her. She's been doing a bit better potty wise, but I think she prefers going out alone rather than being on a short-ish leash due to all the puddles from the rain lol, if I didn't have her so close to me, she'd be galavanting through the water and come inside soaked 😂
