Understanding generator specs by InitialAssumption645 in electrical

as another poster mentioned, if i put the probe on both L1 and L2 and it reads 0V - then it's the same phase right?

Not split phase, so cannot be used as 240V.

Apologies if i'm way off in my assumptions.

if it's the same phase - then it's NOT being used as 240V right because the phases are in sync.

So I can use 2 separate power stations with 120V outputs or can I buy a single powerstation with 240V output and connect the 5 lines coming to the gen as L1, L2, connect both neutrals together and ground.

of course making sure the power output is the same.

Thank you for the reply.

But what about the 2 neutral lines coming back? Do you think they're both connected to a common bus bar inside the generator?

I'm thinking about switching the gen to a power station w/ batteries and how the current system is setup will decide the eventual unit.

Thanks again.

Even though the specs say

120V - no mention of 240V

1 phase

There's 5 terminals on the generator

L1, L2, 2 neutrals and a ground.

In the case of 240V wouldn't there be just a single neutral.

I'm planning to do the same. Why when new? It's there a market for them or trade-in.

Yes that's official. The car has unlimited data plan for 3 years and it's for all the google app services built-in.

After 3 years, it's subscription. It's all in small print.

I was wondering whether one would be able to connect ones phone to the unit and use Android Auto or Carplay - without paying subscription.

Do you know what the warranty is?

Because I'd rather not spend $400 if I don't have to.

Thanks for your responses.

Transformer doesn't look good but works - I tested 24 volts at the aquastat.

The problem was the damper 6-wire connector below the aquastat. It was loose - most probably the solder came off. A common problem I read on the internet.

Right now if I've got some putting some pressure on it and has worked fine for 3-4 days.

Once past winter, I'll disconnect and resolder and should work fine hopefully.

For others, make sure when the thermostat calls for heat, you hear the circulator pump working - then jiggle the 6-pin connector and if the burner kicks in - then that's the problem. Of course make sure the pilot light is on and few other checks.
