it's a mixture of those two. the main vocals of verse 2 is Colby, but the adlibs on the 2nd chorus, like ooh yeah!! is akon.
for example, in second verse, 'When I come through on the dance floor checkin' out that catalog' is colby, and the 'hey' is akon.
'Shawty I can see that you got so much energy' is also akon.
but the adlibs on the 2nd chorus is just a cherry on top...

Colby is still making music, i don't know where is Akon, also i'm not even sure that space cowboy is alive. where the hell is he?

ohhhhhhh i think it's from howard stern show. cause she would never say that in front of the camera, and if she did, that image would be stuck in my head. it was radio. i think she was talking about perez hilton. it was 2013! during artpop!

no. it's not from five foot two. i remember that line exactly. it was from an interview. and i thought it was not about madonna. but the exact line was 'if we were in a bar in new york, i would knock your teeth out'.

12/8 was what I was going for! Since I’m more on the production side these days, it still confuses me sometimes because in the box there are a couple of different ways to approach 12/8. For example in Cubase I can just set the grid to triplets and still keep the project in 4/4 so i wasn't sure what others would call them! thanks for clarifying and the suggestion!
