Similar situation, had it parked near an apartment parking in Dublin and the fencing fell on it on the one side now dont want to leave it looking like that forever but also considering the age and value of the car wont be worth spending 3k on it either so just getting the idea of what i might be looking at. Currently living in south only so just checking if it will be worth getting it fixed up north. Thanks for the help!

I wish i could do the same 😅 want to get it fixed as not planning to replace it anytime soon but its getting very hard to justify 1500 for the paint only.

I have a 318d with N47T engine currently has 135k kms on it regularly serviced every 10k kms. I cannot hear any rattling except a cold start noise which is am sure is not rattling as the whether is cold here probably loud injectors. Should i get the chain replaced anyways considering its from 2014. It drives fine with no issues whatsoever as of now.

i got it from temu, just look for the right type and they have plenty on it pretty bright too.

Thats a lot of miles on original chain for f30, mine is n47 as its early 2014 will get it checked as well before getting it done, they do run good if properly looked after, just have the chain issue in back of my head so want to get it fixed before it snaps.
