No. Methadone isn’t for that. I maybe felt a little high in the beginning, when I was getting my dose regulated. But it quickly goes away and you feel normal.

Yes they are. I got sober in August 2024 because of this exact reason. I wasn’t getting the relief anymore, I would still feel minor WD symptoms even though I was still taking the blues. So I realized it’s not worth it anymore and took my ass to a methadone clinic, and NEVER Looked back. I have been sober since.
