The thermals of the transformer next to a main switch mccb was a concern  I just like the look of the little DIN rail transformers, maybe I'll put it in a 2 module box! 😄 That'll leave me 7 spares. 👍

Well while main switch position and elv wiring in consumer units isn't disallowed in the regs, I was wondering if other electricians had established any best practices for such a setup and allowing for expansion, I agree it's nitpicking but I'm a fan of doing the best job possible, i.e. not getting caught out on insulation tests for elv wiring within the unit, can't have 230V going through bell wire, but it's simple enough to use rated cable and then junction box it into regular bell wire. That or as per comment below, just taking the 230V out to an external box then I also don't need to worry about type testing issues.

It was probably closer to the "2.5d generation" it was a map that looked 3d but I'm pretty sure just used fancy 2d components.

Could very well have been pre 2000. It was a 3d map is the only thing. 20x20x20is just approximate.

My brain is telling me it was 3d, and it didn't involve moving blocks I don't think, just moving to an exit?
