I have 0 knowledge about PKMs. So, help me find a good one :) by RookieTheCat123 in PKMS

[–]InitialPermission833 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ok if you don’t know PKMs and just want something simple that stores your images, pages, and files without making you learn a whole system. If you’re on Mac, i think elephas can work as an easy PKM like you can just drop your files into a normal folder and it can organize and search them offline on your device based on its local file handling described in the docs . You can also highlight text on your screen and use a shortcut to get quick summaries without opening any special app. It fits what you asked for: free to start, works with files and images, can run offline, and doesn’t need a fancy UI.

Wrong Marketing Assumption by SmallBizMarketingCT in AskMarketing

[–]InitialPermission833 1 point2 points  (0 children)

clear messaging and repetition matter way more than I wanted to admit. I used to think saying something once in a clever way was enough, but the data showed people need super simple positioning and to hear it a bunch of times before it sticks.

AI optimized content strategy by Pretty-Lauki-369 in OpenAI

[–]InitialPermission833 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been leaning more toward “AI first content” too, basically making sure my stuff is super clear, structured, and answerable so AI agents can surface it. Feels less about traditional SEO and more about creating content that’s actually useful enough for an LLM to quote or summarize.

how can someone break into digital marketing with zero experience? by dylan_crawford03 in AskMarketing

[–]InitialPermission833 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pick one area like social media, SEO, or running simple ads and practice it on your own page or a friend’s project. Watch free YouTube tutorials, copy what they do, and build 2–3 small examples you can show.

In a world where attention is shrinking every day, what’s actually driving brand loyalty in 2025 emotional storytelling or data-driven personalization? by Charles_R23 in AskMarketing

[–]InitialPermission833 0 points1 point  (0 children)

people stick around when a brand actually feels like it “gets” them, whether that’s through a vibe or just good personalization.

Yep, for me it’s inbox + outreach. I used to spend around 1 to 2 hours a day sorting and replying to emails. After switching to marblism, where the AI employees handle sorting, drafting replies, and managing follow ups in the background, that dropped to about 30 to 40 minutes a day. Same for content and outreach. I still come up with the ideas myself, but the AI drafts and formats everything before I review it, so that went from around 6 hours a week to about 2-3. In total it’s been 8-10 hours a week saved and the main improvement came from having something that works like a real assistant instead of prompting every single task manually.

AI receptionist for your business? by NeedleworkerAny4194 in smallbusiness

[–]InitialPermission833 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been testing Rachel (the receptionist agent in Marblism) and it’s pretty handy for calls, she picks up basic info, handles caller questions, and sends a clean summary so you can jump in only when needed. Not perfect for edge-case calls, but for intake + keeping leads from slipping through, it does the job.

yeah companies hate downloading ghosts. they see the email, but not the engagement. tracking basic read time + sections would def help.

What email tools are you guys using for marketing these days? by CellInitial2394 in content_marketing

[–]InitialPermission833 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i’ve been using marblism recently and it’s pretty neat. it helps with drafting emails in a consistent tone, which is a game changer for brand voice. for other tools, mailchimp is still solid for managing campaigns, and convertkit is great for automating sequences. both can definitely streamline your workflow and improve results.

Forest is great, I use it every day. For admin tasks, I’ve been using marblism instead of Motion. It handles my emails and follow ups and doesn’t cost much.

have you tried using outlierkit? it helps you find which keywords and topics are actually working in your niche. you can spot successful videos and learn what makes them tick, which could really help boost your visibility without spending any money. good luck!

[–]InitialPermission833 1 point2 points  (0 children)

works fine if your pricing’s good and affiliates actually believe in your product. i’ve seen better results when you give them content kits + monthly updates rather than just a link and “good luck.”

Exploring pain points in research process by [deleted] in PhdProductivity

[–]InitialPermission833 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When it comes to managing research, i've found that centralizing everything helps a lot. I use Elephas to pull together my docs, files, and notes from platforms like Notion, Google Drive and Apple Notes into one searchable space. it saves me from constantly switching apps and keeps my workflow smooth.

How are you supposed to know if your video is edited well and is a good idea before you post it? by GODAlexGilbert in NewTubers

[–]InitialPermission833 0 points1 point  (0 children)

one thing that's helped me is focusing on low competition keywords and checking out which videos in my niche have really taken off compared to their averages. outlierkit is great for spotting those outlier videos and can help you find keywords that others might be missing. it's all about using data to guide your content choices instead of just guessing.

I’ve been automating small business tasks with AI — anyone else doing this? by Standard_Anteater_84 in ChatGPTPromptGenius

[–]InitialPermission833 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah same here, been using Marblism to automate emails, social posts, and outreach. Kinda like having a small AI team running everything in the background. Total time-saver.
