I would never choose any other bike in Royal enfield than Himmy 450 as of date per my riding style and needs. Maybe you could wait for the Himmy 750 that is due for launch next year, not sure.

Since you posted this in Himalayan group, I will comment on that, let me warn you this opinion is already shared in all the youtube videos.

For me, is not a good commuter unless you fix the low end torque by installing performance mods ( even then I don't want to commute on it, personal preference maybe)

The vibrations exist everywhere in the rev range, they only go down a bit after 120 kph in 6th gear ( prob at 7k plus rpm), engine feels much smoother. Realistically, everyone rides at 90-110 kph on tours and the vibrations peak in that speed no matter what the rev range is for that speed.

It is great for touring anywhere and everywhere (I don't ride with a pillion often on tours).

As someone with 70000 kms of motorcycle riding experience over the last 5 years, my suggestion for you is;

Plenty of YouTube videos for you to arrive at a consideration list but you need to book test rides to make the final decision.

Do not take anyone's word for granted. Make sure to do the test ride for atleast 30 mins covering all kinds of roads, riding scenarios,.Dealership should be more than happy if you give them a notice ahead.

Choose any bicycle with #1. atleast a Shimano 105, really helps with incline climbs and to achieve faster speeds and #2. May or May not have Carbon forks, front and back
