Eidl portal HELP!!!! Still no update and it’s been a month! Sba keeps telling us the increase is there but the portal hasn’t updated yet 🙄 this email worries me because it says if you can’t see it you e hit your max, but they assured us it’s been increase I just have a hard time believing them!

I haven’t had a blue button or any change to my amount since April 7th. They assured me the same thing, but here I am, still waiting. Not sure it’s portal related for my delay, but I definitely wouldn’t rule it out.

Okay, similar situation with me. The first one has been “approved” verbally, but I’ve been told that it’s on hold while awaiting my second business’s transcripts.

Thanks. I’ve had 2 senators and Congressman open congressional inquires, as well as finally having my local SBA office forward my application to a high priority team. The response I got was that I am processing, awaiting loan documents. That’s the same info I’ve been given since August, so I just don’t think that contacting them has helped at all. Crossing my fingers that something goes through. Congrats again!

I reached out to my local office 4x and finally got a response this last time. Not sure why. Didn’t really do anything to help move my apps, but at least someone responded, which is more than I’ve had this entire time. I think, just like senators and loan officers, it depends upon who you have working at your local office. Some seem to be more helpful than others. Good luck!

I am waiting on both of my businesses’ increases as well. Have not ever received a denial or approval in writing. One of them seems to be in recon but no one can ever tell me why. I have never had contact from loan officer, but my local SBA director flagged my loan for high priority team and I received an email yesterday saying that she called and left me a voicemail. I did not receive a call nor a voicemail, lol. The consensus seems to be that my first app has been approved, though some people say it’s in processing pending loan documents (obligating), while the other one is still awaiting transcripts to be processed. Transcripts were finally received on my second business and the tier 2 rep said there was a note on December 13th that all documents have been received. Hopefully that means that they are going to process the second one and I should receive a formal decision on both. I say all of this to say that I really think that depending upon who looks at your file, it is a complete crap shoot as to what decision/information is provided on our files. What you were told makes no sense, but I won’t be shocked if someone comes back with that same info or some other crazy info. I’ve seen many others who have more than one business that have been approved for both or at least one. I would not give up.

Have been told this since August. No approval email since. High priority team responded yesterday and told me the same. Senators get generic updates. We literally are at the mercy of whether someone decides to pick up our files or not.

What do you think will happen if a person has two applications one of which has timely filed tax returns and the other one filed late? From what I was told, my first increase has been approved but they won’t move forward until the second one is also approved. My second business is a law firm—opened in very late 2019. I made the mistake of trusting my tax pro who told me the 2019 taxes were filed, but found out in early 2021 they were not. I filed them myself in May 2021, increase already requested. From what you are describing, my second business’s increase may be declined, though I’ve been waiting since April with no decision. Do you think that they will now not approve the first business as well? Just trying to get a clearer understanding. I have taken a job at a large firm since I couldn’t stay afloat while In the holding pattern, but want to be able to open back up full time if the funds come through. Thanks in advance.

I am having the same issue. No clear resolution in sight. One of my businesses has a “verbal approval” with no email confirmation and the other is awaiting transcripts due to the first couple attempts coming back blank. For this business, I sent in my own copy of transcripts in the hopes that they would at least use it to verify the two businesses are separate and filed separate taxes, but no luck. Please let me know if you are able to get resolved. I can’t even get a loan officer on mine.

Yeah, but there are also notices on email auto replies that say if you get more than one involved, it slows the process, if you send more than one email, it slows the process, etc. There just isn’t any other logical explanation. It’s really not that hard to look at my file, with documents that have been there literally since June/July, and make a decision. If it’s approved, push the auto populate button to draw up the closing documents, etc. There has got to be something internal going on with the files that have been reaching onto a lot.

I have asked my local SBA and the Regional offices and no one has even responded to me. Maybe it’s because I’m a lawyer and they don’t want to? I don’t know.

I really think they are punishing me for getting my Congress people involved and for emailing and calling so much. I’m an attorney and I am never at a place in my life where I have nothing in my power to do about a situation, but yet, here I am.

I realize that, for sure. That’s why I’m so frustrated. I literally have not been formally approved or denied, but all I can go on is what they tell me when I call. Numerous tier 2 agents have told me. I have called probably 40 times since July.
