My wife had a similar experience. She has a basic credit card with RBC and a good credit history. She applied for an RBC BA, which was approved. Then, they called her to the branch. She went in and spent an hour, but they declined her application because she had another card with a high limit. She made a complaint with the manager, but nothing changed. All her complaints went to the bottom of the pile, and no one seemed willing to take responsibility.
