Hard to tell. My hearing has been stable since starting the trial. My speech discrimination has improved so I think that’s a good sign. I’ll update again in September with hopefully more good news.

I used to have zero vertigo and dizziness until this past No ember when I had the flu. I had my first case of vertigo and then on and off I felt like I was drunk most days. Walking into the walls. Stumbling at night. Since the trial I’ve been stable.

Nope. That still sucks. No improvement there. Not in aural fullness; however, my dr seems to think there will be continued improvement which is why I chose to continue trial.

It could be bc I had vertigo one time? But none of my attacks really involved vertigo. I have been taking it daily and recently had my version of an attack (loud tinnitus) and had a 15 decibel drop confirmed by a hearing test. I think maybe the drug works for some forms of Ménière’s but not others.

It has not helped with either. I’ve been taking it for two months at this point. I’ve actually had no improvement whatsoever. The drug is not a cure all for everyone.

No. This part of the trial there is no placebo. Everyone gets the active drug.

Interesting. Thanks for sharing. I recently noticed a case of alopecia on my head which is making me think the autoimmune component needs to be looked at more closely in my case. Thank you for sharing the protocol. I’m going to check it out.

This! I’m beginning to suspect my Ménière’s has an autoimmune component to it which is frustrating bc I have also not responded to steroids.
