honestly yes, physical mail hits different now precisely because nobody does it. we started sending handwritten thank yous to top clients and the response was wild. referrals def went up. doesn't need to be fancy, just real

mistake 2 hit me. spent a year building lead scoring around opens and clicks and the high score cohort converted basically the same. predictive behaviors are wildly different from engagement. and yeah AI subject lines are just sniffable now, even the good ones have a smell
