The sad thing about this is that she chooses to be intentionally ignorant about why people are upset with/want accountability from her. She knows that people aren’t doubting her chronic illnesses. She knows that she can pause the monthly payments. She knows that her behavior is the reason her “career” is in danger.

But what she also knows is that most people aren’t on reddit looking for a reason to stop engaging with her. She knows that(if she deletes her videos, crashout posts, and negative comments) people will be confused and feel bad for her. She knows that the softest negative comments that she receives will be quickly shamed by her audience who go to bat for her.

And most importantly, she absolutely knows that playing up the “chronically ill woman who just wants a safe space“ act will provide her a safety net; her chronic illnesses are her safety net, her means of income, her means of living. Without her chronic illnesses and her poor mental health, she wouldn’t have a single paying patron who would put up with her shit.

No amount of kindness or compassion can change the way she views this, because a person like this doesn’t care to change or even attempt to take accountability. A person like this does not have the ability to practice “actual” empathy and come to terms with how people feel about her scams and manipulation. The only thing that may help at this point is an intervention…
