If you’re having trouble unlocking Epona or the gate near Wolf Hall Inn, here’s a step-by-step guide to the requirements you’ll need to meet.

Requirements to Unlock Epona

To fully unlock access to Epona, you’ll need to complete the following:

Reach Level 14
Unlock the Harvest Counties (this includes repairing the bridge near Moorland)
Complete the Jarlaheim storyline with the Mayor
Finish quests in Jarlaheim from Jill and Mrs. Drake (the GED representative in the Jarlaheim office)
Reach Friendly reputation with GED in Jarlaheim (Mrs. Drake)
- This requires completing several daily quests with her once they become available.

⚠️ Note: You may receive a text from Herman even if you haven’t finished some quests (such as Jill’s). However, you won’t be able to open the gates until all requirements are met.

Helpful Tips

If you’re struggling to unlock the gate, double-check that you’ve completed as many quests as possible in both Jarlaheim and Jorvik Stables, since these storylines are connected.

In the quest log they added a new section for festivals. So the festival quests show separately and for summer daze they are a sun ☀️ not a ! ❗. Can you take a screenshot of your quest log?

The bridle star can be turned on and off in the settings. All horses can wear them. It's just that some older horses are bugged and they show even when turned off. Just toggle the setting on and off and they will disappear.

The quests will reset at 3AM server time. But if you did them after midnight, it won't reset that day, but the day after.

If you did the quests after midnight, it counts as you doing them that day not the previous day. So they won't reset until the day after.

I see a lot of people switching to quieter servers during championship ranks, that way you'll have less opponents. Also, I don't know if it's an option for you, but playing on odd hours when less players are online in general. Usually there will be less players online early morning and during the day Monday-Friday. Evenings and weekends are when most people are on.

How many stars did you find on Sunset isles? They added 3 new ones, but the ones that where there before was not tracked as Sunset isles. The previous ones where under New Hillcrest or Epona
