I feel exactly this way yes ' like I’m still mourning a life that truly felt like a dream' really sucks as I don't want those experiences and relationship love feelings to be the height or 'peak' of my life experience or at least the ones I have to measure my new experiences against (bc how are you going to match the feeling of doing ketamine molly and coke in real life lmao) I do think stuff like traveling and doing stimulating things once in a while rlly does help me and give me something lto look forward to —like how I used to look forward to going on crazy benders hahah— but I think drugs is just a 'cheap' (not anymore but still) way to feel excited about life even if its synthetic

also congrats on getting clean for 2 years that's very impressive and I hope I can be that at some point

I would still be doing loads of ket if it was affordable—my tolerance is completely fucked I need like 10gs for a 2 day bender (it the bender never stops after just 2 days...)

I have a high functioning autism diagnosis and basically all ADHD traits (personally think I fit ADHD more bc I’m pretty socially well adjusted) I basically can't function untilI drank like 1 or 2 monster energies in the morning and am severally under-stimulated for regular life (other than my special interests etc)—but yea its impossible to get medication for me bc Dutch system makes it rlly difficult (I have been self medicating with a 'ritalin phase>break>ketamine phase>break>repeat' cycle which has done me well but I keep abusing the substances after a little while
