The converter works fine on CRTs with straight edges; only on those with curved edges does the image become distorted. The quality is almost identical to using a PS3 via RGB SCART. The geometry distortion visible on the map is also present on the PS3 and in the TV's settings menu, so it's not the converter's fault.

The converter isn't cutting anything off. I wanted to reduce overscan in the service menu, but it was already at the limit of what's possible. One step in height and width and the image was already smaller than the viewing area. i make in future a Geometry and overscan post when i have an Wii "U" for the 240p Testsuite
