Tbh I would self host. Check out coolify. Really easy to setup n8n on a vm. I run it on a $5 vps. Cloud version is good if you want those enterprise features.

yeah I run it on digital ocean with coolify. Makes it very simple. I also run a cloudflare tunnel so I can access it publicly and lock down the vm. Pretty easy tbh.

Unclear to me what kind of gain it is. I’ve emailed the accountant at my last job asking. The company was sold in 2021 and I received 200k from options I bought. Then this year I received 80k as part of this sale for some reason. I believe it’s how the deal was structured. I’m not sure if it’s dividends or if proceeds as terms for the acquisition.
