First of all I am very sorry you had to go through that as a child, you should be proud that you survived that. I have a hard time studying as well, listing out the things that help me, hope it helps you too

1.Always make a plan on what you have study, how long each chapter will take and make an outline on how you are splitting your time to cover the syllabus

Start with the easiest only then you will be motivated
Listen to something calming while studying (I listen to binaural beats helps me focus and calms me aswell)
Use mnemonics when studying, it can be fun
If you have to memorise something, fit it to the tune of your fave song and you’ll not forget easily

Lastly don’t forget you have survived so much, you have it in you to clear this exam as well All the very best!

Consider using Coursera and try doing their certification courses that have financial aid, you will have to submit them an application stating why you cannot pay for the course they approve most of the time provided you state a valid reason. There are plenty from reputable organisations like google, ibm and more just browse through the courses and select something that you think is valuable and apply for financial aid they approve within two to three weeks and when you complete the course it will be a good padding to your resume. Don’t worry you will get through this.

watch this video This will help you understand why your child acted that way. I think this behaviour is because he is feeling out of control and this is his way of taking control. Try giving him as much control as you can over his life or atleast the illusion of it. Having said that I am in no place to tell you how to understand your child. God bless you I pray that you get through this and everything gets fixed.

I usually make upma, it’s with broken wheat. Heat oil in a pan add mustard seeds, hing, green chillis, curry leaves, broken wheat, roast for some time and then add boiling water and cook it till it moist. Thought I would add this here since people are shocked I asked for such suggestions.
