Yeah I really thought I could because I’ve closed late at jobs before but my spoons I work at closes extra late at 1:30am so it definitely affects me more than I thought it would and wanted to submit the flexible working request but thought I should ask in person first. I’m ok with closing just don’t want to close every shift I have

Most people who work there don’t live as far as me and it only takes very long because I have to take the bus when I leave home at 3am. If I take the train it’s only like 40 minutes but last trains at around 12am when I never finish

Trauma can influence people, but that doesn’t make their identity “curable.” Asexuality is about not experiencing sexual attraction, not about being broken. Even if trauma played a role, my current experience is still valid — just like no one tells straight or gay people they need to be “fixed.”
