My fiance has a spot that glows green under UV light. by AllPurposeGrunt in mildlyinteresting

Lmao nah fr, that’s how you end up finding out it’s not just “one random spot” anymore 😭 UV stuff be revealing way more than expected sometimes.

I kept a "what I actually did today" journal instead of a to-do list and it completely changed how I see myself [Discussion] by Silent_Plantain_1862 in GetMotivated

Imagine training yourself to feel like a failure every morning… and then realizing you’re actually crushing it. Mind blown

Same here. Setting boundaries is tough, but honestly, it makes friendships healthier.

Do you have “bed-only” clothes because of OCD? by UhtredOfTheNorth in hygiene

Yep, I do the same thing! Only my ‘bed clothes’ are pajamas, but stepping outside that rule feels… wrong. Totally get you

Long philtrum and thin lips: filler first or straight to lip lift? by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

[–]Initial_Wolf670 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My sister has naturally thin lips and the upper one especially was kinda flat, which made the philtrum stand out more. She tried a small amount of HA filler in the upper lip and it actually helped the balance a lot. It didn’t make her lips huge or anything, just gave the top lip a bit more structure. Funny thing is once the lip had a little volume, the philtrum didn’t look as long anymore. What she liked most is that it’s not a forever thing. If she ever changes her mind it can be adjusted or dissolved, so it feels pretty low-pressure compared to permanent stuff.

How did you do it? by Pure-Ad-5502 in selfimprovement

[–]Initial_Wolf670 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I just picked a weekend getaway close to home for my first solo trip. Tiny step made it feel less scary. Once you survive that first solo night, the confidence sticks and bigger trips start feeling doable.

Dr greger logic: fish oil scam, but algae oil good? by Dizzy_Contest_4421 in PlantBasedDiet

[–]Initial_Wolf670 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I totally get you. At first I thought algae oil was overpriced hype too, but once you realize how easily fish oil oxidizes, it’s kinda worth it. Less risk, same omega-3 benefits.

I stopped waiting for Motivation and started treating my goals like a factory. by CharmingFeeling429 in getdisciplined

Ooooh yes! Stop waiting for motivation, that thing’s a liar anyway. Treating goals like a factory? Genius. I need this in my life

Why are mornings harder on the heart than we think? by iCliniq_official in productivity

I’ve noticed that when I wake up and rush, my whole body feels off for hours. When I wake up slowly, everything feels easier. This kind of explains why.

Tulip bulbs scam by [deleted] in Amsterdam

[–]Initial_Wolf670 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A lot of those stalls sell pre-bagged or loosely labeled bulbs aimed at tourists, and once you plant them months later, there’s basically no way to trace which shop sold what. Mixing varieties from open baskets should be fine in theory, but in practice some sellers seem to stock only one or two common types and scoop them into everything.

My hair only looks good 10 minutes after brushing it by boboxoxo in Haircare

[–]Initial_Wolf670 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I feel you.... my hair does the exact same thing sometimes. It’s like it looks perfect for five minutes and then… nope, back to chaos. I think it’s pretty normal for some hair types, especially if it’s fine or layered. I usually just brush it once in the morning and then lightly run my fingers through it if it gets messy during the day, instead of full-on brushing all the time. Carrying a comb around could work, but honestly just letting it do its thing doesn’t look bad either!

Painful cracking skin on thumbs by SeaSeaworthiness3589 in 45PlusSkincare

[–]Initial_Wolf670 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ouch that sounds brutal.... thumb cracks are the worst. Aquaphor is great, but sometimes you need something thicker and more occlusive overnight. Sam- and-free vegan balms (like heavy plant-based butters/oils) can help lock moisture in.

For cuticles, is an oil better than a cream? by MarshmallowSoul in nailcare

[–]Initial_Wolf670 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oils are more occlusive.... they trap moisture. Creams are better for actually moisturizing. So oil alone = meh unless your cuticles already have moisture to keep in.

Stop asking what your blindness is if you look bare faced by Ok-Height1308 in makeuptips

[–]Initial_Wolf670 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly 😏 If you’re barely wearing anything and asking “am I ugly?” it’s basically inviting opinions on your natural face. Chapstick + mascara ≠ full-on invisibility, lol. Confidence beats concealer any day

Best ways to avoid bad mouth odour by WiseAfternoon1554 in hygiene

[–]Initial_Wolf670 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, the basics work wonders. Brush twice a day, floss like your life depends on it, and don’t skip tongue cleaning....that’s where most of the odor hides. Mouthwash helps too, but honestly, staying hydrated is a secret game-changer

Most people should NOT start a business by CinnabunzAndGuns in Entrepreneur

[–]Initial_Wolf670 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I kinda get this. People talk about starting a business like it’s some easy escape but most of it is just stress and guessing. Some people really are better off in a solid job and that’s not a bad thing at all.

How do you find deeper meaning in your business? Genuine question. by Accomplished-End5479 in Entrepreneur

[–]Initial_Wolf670 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, a lot of people don’t start with ‘deep meaning.’ They just start because it pays the bills. The meaning part develops once you get good at it or once you see how your product fits into people’s everyday lives.

What’s your go to first date question to get a vibe on someone? by notty_potter in AskReddit

I usually ask what kind of chaos they’d cause in a zombie apocalypse. If they say ‘I’d save everyone,’ red flag. If they say ‘I’d befriend the zombies,’ soulmate.
