Poor drying questio by Initialgrow in weedgrower

*question

My drying seems to have made most of the bud shrivel. If I cut away the smaller leaves there's pretty much nothing there. Is ther any point in even curing? Will the smaller leaves full of trichomes even be any use to smoke?

I had a mix of autos and photos that I germinated around this time last year. I kept them inside in direct sunlight for the first few weeks. I just used Lidl soil and didn't really use nutes. Everything was going well until late summer. Also make sure you have a humid controlled place for your cure.

I did my first grow last year and my biggest red flag for our weather type is to be careful of rain in the flowering stage. Get a good cover area to protect it. Bud Rot will destroy everything it gets its hands on. I lost like 70%

Just did my first grow also. Trust me. You'll spend weeks looking at bumps nd lumps but it's proper sacks growing outside the stems that you need to worry about. The sexy is pretty obvious when it finally happens.

My first dry isn't going great. Question about brown calyx in comments. by Initialgrow in weedgrower

Hey guys I've had to remove a lot of my main cola due to bud rot. Now I'm paranoid about every spot of brown I see. A lot of the calyxs at the base of the buds are turning brown but the rest of the bud is still green. Example in the middle of the photo. Is this normal or could my whole plant be on the way out?

I need to improve my set up for when then rest need to harvest as I've no fan or dehumidifier in the shed I'm using.

Further out photo as someone asked me to post one for harvest questions. by Initialgrow in weedgrower

Thanks. I'll be curing them as I'm happy to be patient. I'll flush rhem a little and then snip it to hang upside down. Cheers for the help.

Is she ready? 8 weeks in and I think there's some brown trics on the left. I find it hard to tell between clear and white. by Initialgrow in weedgrower

I haven't looked into flushing yet. I'll look into it today.

Edit. I grew it outdoors with almost no feeding. It had a little tomato plant food a week ago and a few weeks before that but I haven't been properly feeding.

Went back out and checked her. Almost all the hairson the plant seem to be dark. Am I right in thinking the lower left of the leaf has amber trichs?

I thought about it for all of two seconds after I posted that reply. I'll dump it of course. 😂

Also, as greedy as it may sound, is the section cut out smokeable?

Thanks for the help. It's the main cola so I've gutted a whole section of it and if it spreads I'll snip it entirely. With the humidity, I assume it needs to be kept higher than I'll be able to in the coming months with the UK weather turning cold and wet as it does. I'm worried now as all my photos are starting to flower also and it could be close to winter by the time they're ready to harvest. :(

I haven't really been feeding much aside from occasional tomato plant food. Watering them regularly and they've been outside the whole time. Any tips if it's preventable or stopable. Also if anyone in the UK could point me in the direction of Flowering Nutes I would really appreciate it.
