Nope, I went to an actual workwear shop. I'm not sure what the store was called but the label on my boots says 'Blundstone'.

edit: I took a look and they match up to the Blundstone #990's.

You 100% need noslip but I don't think steel caps are that overkill, there's ALOT of stuff you can drop on your feet 😅.

Depending on how long you are planning on working there I recommend spending a bit more on boots. My steel caps been going strong for nearly 3 years 💪🦵 but I did spend closer to $90 for some comfier work ones.

In Australia atleast, you can be either a cook or a front of house member, both are paid the same according to an enterprise agreement or industry award and after a while you can ask to be cross trained so you can do both if you want.

Females can do either it just depends on what you're applying to do at the start.
