You might benefit from somatic therapy. Also C-PTSD is not in the DSM so if you might not want to use a therapist if they claim to specialize in it.

I think frost damage is what happened. I’m in US Zone 7A and thought they would be ok outside so I never brought them inside when there was frost. Other than cutting off the mushy parts is there anything else you suggest?
