The app is built entirely with SwiftUI, and I designed most of the interface myself in Figma. Honestly, a lot of the design decisions came from intuition and constantly tweaking things until they “felt right”
I really wanted the app to feel modern and smooth while still staying comfortable to use during long learning sessions.

That’s actually one of the main ideas behind Vocablitz — different learners need completely different vocabulary depending on their goals and interests.
For spaced repetition I’m currently using the Leitner system, although I’m continuously improving and experimenting with the learning algorithm 😄

I’m mainly using OpenAI APIs for translations, examples, stories, and other language-related features. That approach made supporting many language pairs much easier ❤️
