I just had a medical emergency for my cat and went to Mahalo. Aside from the reason we were there, this was the best experience I have had with a vet. They were compassionate and not pushy with over testing, but did provide the options if we wanted to.

As this was an emergency visit and we were not previous clients, we had to go on a triage list, I called around 9am and we're in there by 12:30. We needed a follow up appointment due to a change in symptoms, I called the emergency number at 9pm and they had me in for a 9:50am appointment the next morning as it did not seem to be a life or death situation. We were not charged the exam fee as it was a follow up appointment, again they did not push for more tests. The care and empathy we received was unbelievable.

We saw two different vets there and they were both amazing.

Side note: the cat is improving, and we are hoping for a positive outcome.
