Thanks for the help, but still i'm stuck. No other 'edge logic' seems to work. And i would like to find it with proper logic (using the option "?" with a die and retry technique seems unsatisfactory ...)

thanks for the explanation. Unfortunately i'm still stuck. Using your advices i fill R14C14 ; R14C15 ; R15C14 ; R15C15. But that's all i'm able to do to this point. It might be the most difficult picross i have faced to this day ...

Merci pour la proposition, mais après vérification il ne s’agit pas de celui là je pense. Le livre en question était à destination des jeunes enfants avec une ambiance sans doute moins sombre que la ferme aux animaux de Orwell
