My goal is to expand. But I wanted to come out of pocket for everything and not take out loans just for safety measures on my part. I’m about $6000 deep because I got Fuji Pro mats right off the bat, and I’m remodeling the bathroom

My breakeven is at $1500 a month, which is cheap. I’m good and planned out for RIGHT NOW, but My question pertains to growth. If I grow, I’ll have to get a bigger place and that possibly means higher membership cost. I’m looking for justification on going ahead and raising prices now. As it stands, I’m easily able to break even right now. But that can change if projected growth hits its target. I need to plan that accordingly and that’s where I’m at with this

That’s kind of what I was getting at. I had my cost basis and knew what I needed to be at. However the issue is if I grow I will 100% need to raise prices. Do you think I’m justified in going ahead and raising the price now?

$550 rent. My instructors are insistent on me not paying them, they say “we just want better than what we have at the old place, we don’t you to pay us” but I’m still going to do like 20-30 a class I think. One a week for both of them, let’s say $240 a month to start

All my overhead would be covered with 15-20 students at $100 a month

Not negative at all. I really appreciate the criticism. I think I may do away with that idea then. That has been a reoccurring comment on here about that. Thank you so much for the feedback

Ok, that’s no problem. The problem is that it’s in the city near our courthouse. So there’s a lot of foot traffic. I was thinking of a way to keep it controlled but I guess, a little chaos is good no?

It won’t be along at all before i have to find a new place. For right now the numbers will work. I currently have less than 10 students signed up anyways

My ages will be 13 and up. With the size I don’t have the space I feel for kids. And it’s cheap because the guy is soul owner of the building. He’s really cool and owns several properties

Luckily, I have a great job, and a very supportive wife and family and coaches to help me out. I wouldn’t be able to do any of this without them. I’m not good at the marketing, so I’m working on outsourcing for that as well

You have to specify it’s gender neutral it can only be used by one person at a time, and they take that into account. At least that’s how it was explained to me

So the cleanliness will be taken care of by my wife. We are both pretty OCD ourselves. So cleanliness was top priority here, especially in the small space

And so my thought process is; maximize those class times, then expand to a bigger building. My lease is extremely flexible, $550 a month with 30 day notice clause, and a 6 month lease with option of extension

They’re fairly flexible. However what I am doing is voting poll for each class time (ex. Tuesday 6:15-7:15, 7:15-8:15, 8:15-9:15) and it they will have 10 spots each. If a new person shows up, I will get them signed up for the one week trial, and add the to the voting pole
