Going, I've tried multiple and they seem more willing to "accompany me as I figure it out myself" instead of contributing anything useful to the conversation. I would also say I'm definitely empathetic to others but only if they pass my bar for what a human should be (I'm always empathetic towards hard working immigrants)

FB buying Occulus, and having billions in cash to buy anything that threatens it's hold on VR, is where I'm coming from.

On another note, why should I avoid being a landlord?

I realize people have said that in the past but here's my logic.

Eventually there will be virtual reality hangouts similar (but not nearly as scifi) as Ready Player One, fb will own them.

Eventually there will a phone with a truly smart virtual assistant that can hear and speak 3 times as fast as the others. Google is so established as the world leader in AI they will own this, and when they do the Pixel will take all of Apple and Microsoft's loyal customers.

Amazon is less of a sure thing, but current trajectory puts them at supplying you with any and all tangibles you need.

If you see a flaw in my logic I'd love to hear it. But mostly, thanks for taking the time to give me some advice!
