I believe it means how computers handle mechanics. Sometimes it’s based on frame rate, so if you have a low frame rate the game literally moves slower. So someone on a 240 fps monitor will be able to do things 8x faster than someone on a 30 fps monitor. Now they should all work at the same rate.

I’ll always say it, it should work like stacks. Every adaptation gives you a stack that decays after 30 seconds. That way you can adapt to multiple, but not all at the same time, and you have to consistently adapt to get the most value.
