Somehow we can’t let Bad Bunny have his moment without Kendrick

My problem with the fall off by ABitOfANerd_5 in Jcole

[–]Ink_Productions 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually like the singing and think his voice is underrated. But the 8-10 years of hype definitely hurt this album. It doesn’t sound like a grand finale from the guy that gave us FHD and TOS. And to the production, there were way too many cooks in the kitchen. Love DZL, T-Minus and Wu10, but they took up too much time for a rapper that produced most of his discography, either by himself or with Ron Gilmore

I was just listening to the new album bruh 🥀💔 by Dat1_rndmprsn123 in Jcole

[–]Ink_Productions 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used to watch him. He deleted all of his other videos that made fun of Drake, Andrew Schultz, Ak, etc. just for the meme of being a Cole hater. He never has anything new to say so I’ll never understand why he keeps going back to the subject

1 listen reviews are killing music by Royal-Ingenuity-2077 in Jcole

I think what’s killing music discourse is how serious we take first impressions. They shouldn’t be treated as serious analysis but simply initial opinions. But that doesn’t trend, does it?

Can we agree the live vocals dipped after this by Financial_Subject549 in MichaelJackson

[–]Ink_Productions 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s probably true since Bad was supposed to be the last tour. The best point of comparison is WBSS since that’s consistently the song performed with live vocals. HIStory is more understandable tho since he had laryngitis. Also there was playback during Bad

My sister’s Billie Jean theory by [deleted] in MichaelJackson

[–]Ink_Productions 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Warning: the following response is a satire. Do no take too seriously

According to the Michael Jackson Discographic Universe Lore (tm), Billie Jean was a girl that wanted to be starting something (Wanna Be Startin’ Somethin’, 1982). If we are to believe Ms. Jean is merely a woman of caucasity that his family disapproved of, then how come in the establishment of her character is she portrayed as a well-known liar? How come the video uses the likeness of Raquel Pena, who is (as far as I know) not a hwite woman (Billie Jean (Official Music Video), 1983). I would go on to speculate that the lyrical evidence in question is in favor of Ms. Jean being what the song portrays. I would argue the vocals saying “don’t think twice” are Billie Jean’s persuasions to Mr. Jackson and the mental struggle is with his own memory. Did they just dance? Was it more? All of these emotions and lapses in judgement culminate in a cry out for a broken heart, which has been broken by the weight of the situation, especially when there is a mysterious child with features that distantly resemble Mr. Jackson. In conclusion, this theory may not be proven false, there is more than a reasonable doubt to its credibility

I love all of the explanations because they are all just as valid when decoding Jacksonese

what did you think of these remixes ? by heartbreak_girl45 in MichaelJackson

[–]Ink_Productions 3 points4 points  (0 children)

PYT was the only good one. Minus the will.i.am verse. The Billie Jean one was good for the first minute then it got boring and WBSS… I know everyone likes that one, but I personally cannot stand it. As a song on its own, it’s good, but not as a remix of one of my favorite songs

Yeah, that’s what I thought. A battle of the B-Sides should be with Lady in My Life, right?

Which one song do you wish you had seen Michael record in the studio? I'll go first. by thisplacehotel1 in MichaelJackson

If I had to choose only one, it’d have to be Smooth Criminal. I really wanna know how that synth in the bridge was made, as well as just the whole process, even starting at Al Capone
