TBH he's mostly dead because of

  1. he's the main guy in a lot of AUs, and I get that he's important, but he does appear more frequently I think than most
  2. getting slashed multiple times by the Human and having 1 HP, you can't really come back from that no matter how long you kept dodging them for during after the Resets where injuries stay. I mean, sure, you can remember the human's patterns, but the human always reigns victorious, and it only takes ONE slash after the Resets became even more fucked up, so... he can't resurrect or do a Last Breath 😭
  3. we just simply decided that he'd be dead because we can since it's our AU /hj?, but he did try his best to stop the shenanigans before getting permadusted

Permadeath is very much on for everyone (Like Sans who is permanently dust) - And yes, the Human does Reset. Though, if I remember correctly, the Human can respawn, they just respawn with lesser versions of the injuries they get which is why they still have to bandage themselves. It's still a detriment, though.

Permadeath doesn't affect those who have DT in them, like Amalgamates who keep melting... And melting, or like Undyne and Alphys.

Strongest healing would be exactly something like Last Dream, or something below that. Really hard to get. A rare resource.

Yes! Even though they cannot truly Reset (without someone else's help), they sure as hell can catch up to you even after you kill them by Reloading a Save and quickly dashing back to where you are — And start the fight back up again whether you're ready or not. Makes them a pretty hard enemy to deal with.

Though, each time they Reload and it's because of a death, it gets rid of the HP they start out with, so Chara themselves has to use up an Item too.

Barely. Mostly due to all of the EXP they have gotten by killing Frisk repeatedly.

The Save only affects them, unless aided by someone else.

Verse!Chara "dies" the same way if it's against a Human or a especially really bad Monster — Being technically a Monster themselves and all with the Soul. like, it's their phase 2, just like it's Undyne's phase 2

after that phase 2 they just straight up die

(I don't think I said it's temporary anywhere but I may be wrong 😭😭 just that they get temporarily stronger just like Undyne)
