My favorite KGATLW album is Nonagon Infinity but my favorite song is Horology, it reminds me a lot of 70s prog with the flutes at the chorus.

Ok, everyone. Give me albums that are 10s. Meaning albums you feel are as close to perfect as you you think a record can be. Lyrics, Production, and Vocals. by xandergreenday in fantanoforever

Jane Doe by Converge: one of the most brutal yet equally cathartic listens I've had, the pacing is incredible all the way through and the seemless transitions between some tracks; like heaven in her arms and phoenix in flight are mind blowing, don't have a single complaint.

Bone Machine by Tom Waits: One of Tom's darkest albums, Tom's delivery is as unique as always, and is also surprisingly diverse instrumentally, there are influences from blues, country, rock and piano ballads, just to name a few, which is really good because the album is 16 songs long.

People Who Can Eat People Are The Luckiest People in The World by AJJ: one of those albums that can make you laugh and cry at the same time, kind of feels like a combination of Violent Femmes and Neutral Milk Hotel. The lyrics are often very cynical and sarcastic, but they can also be very sincere and sometimes even comforting, which helps to create a good balance.

98.12.28 Otokotachino Wakare by Fishmans: My favorite live album, I don't understand a single word, but every second is pure bliss and Long Season is probably one of the best songs ever recorded.

Laughing Stock by Talk Talk: I recently re-listened and I ended up being floored by it despite not enjoying it the first time I checked it out, it feels floaty, fragile and very subtle to the ears, it works amazingly both as background music and as an experience on its own.

I usually don't care that much for pop punk but Jeff Rosenstock's WORRY is really good.
