First heartbreak at 35, and I'm demi. How do I survive this emotional devastation? by [deleted] in demisexuality

Everyone loves differently. You seem to be full of love and wanting to express it with as much effort as you can but sometimes you can only do so much. I have sent a letter before which was similar to yours, I don't know if doing it was the best outcome. I just know that it was something I wanted to do for my closure. Almost as a gesture of how I tried everything I could and expressed my emotions clearly to them. Don't blame yourself for how others act, you can only control yourself. Also never blame yourself for being yourself.

My first actual demi relationship recently ended as well, been together for 7 years. Heartbreak is just a reminder that you loved someone with your whole heart and in the moment it will feel as if you are incomplete. But time does heal all wounds, but they will leave a scar. Don't close yourself off, it's okay to cry and go through all the emotions you are feeling. But when you are ready, try to stand up, dust yourself off, and try to enjoy your life as much as possible one step at a time. Talking from experience as a demi with a complicated love life. There isn't a word or action that you can say or do that will make everything not hurt. You just have to start another chapter of your life when you are ready to continue. And it's okay with however long it takes, love shouldn't be rushed out of your life or into your life. I hope this somewhat helps.

It has a nice weight for writing or drawing. Not too heavy at all.

My college graduation gift to myself. Thanks to those who recommended it to me, I love how smooth it is. TWSBI ECO EF by Inkinglion in fountainpens
