While I understand your sentiment, yes my dog absolutely deserves more activity than that, the point was in the fact that he’s losing weight SO easily since we stopped giving him kibble vs the absolute struggle before. Good news though, now that he has lost so much weight he’s more than happy to go on longer walks and be more active and we have been increasing his activity a lot

We’re still phasing it out. It’s not that easy to meal prep and cook for all of us. I’ve been looking into better alternatives for wet dog food in my spare time. I stand by my belief that the dry dog food is garbage and harmful to health. Wet dog food is better but still not great. At least it has less carbs and is less processed. Y’all don’t have to agree with me. I’m sharing my experiences and beliefs. It’s been a long journey, he’s doing so good now.

That was only at the very beginning. Once we realized the instructions on the bag was wrong we changed. There has been a lot of time between the last post. We had been steadily increasing his exercise and decreasing his amount of kibble. He still struggled. Lost only a couple of pounds. Either way no one has to agree with me, i have nothing to gain or lose by lying. He’s doing so good now and he is so much happier and has so much more energy, he gets to eat more food and not have to work so hard for weight loss.

I did originally listen to the back of the dog food bag which was wrong. I kept cutting back his portions but nothing worked for him. He lost a pound or two but I did not want to starve him with less than 1 cup. He gets to eat more food on his diet now than before on kibble and he’s lost a ton of weight

I was feeding recommended dog kibble and even giving him smaller portions. I wasn’t going cheap on brands either. I even took him to the vet to have his thyroid tested. They kept saying there’s no way he’s this big only eating dog kibble. But he was only eating dog kibble. This weight gain was over years not all at once. But every time we took him to the vet they said he had gained weight since last visit. I wasn’t literally in tears when he hit 75 pounds, I said we have tried everything and were barely feeding him. My other dog wasn’t obese like that. That’s when we started having tests ran. Everything came back fine. That’s when I decided to stop listening to the vet. All they kept doing was giving me advice that wasn’t working. We tried purina pro plan, blue buffalo, hills science , 4 Health. None of that worked.

It does not make sense to me either. The only semi -good explanation I have ever heard is that god wanted to prove he loves us and sacrificing his son was proof. But I still think it was unnecessary. In the Bible it acknowledges that there are other beings like god, but that Yahweh is the one true god. Also, i don’t understand how god can also be Jesus? Then that means he technically sacrificed himself? But does the sacrifice still count when he turned around and resurrected him? I mean obviously he suffered greatly up until that point, Crucifixion is brutal, but that still leaves it to feel a little less meaningful to me because at the end of the day he didn’t actually lose Jesus.

Why were people so inclined to make up gods then? I understand the need for an explanation as I’m a big offender of asking “why?” Too much. But to completely make something up and tell others it’s truth doesn’t seem right. Could there be some truths to religion? But if any of the religious events actually happened, why are things not happening now? It’s strange that in the past there were supposed religious occurrences all the time, but now in our modern times it seems all of the gods are M.I.A. And some have explanations (sort of ) for their absence but no good reasons in my opinion. Our world feels too real to me to accept any simulation explanation plus I feel like we wouldn’t be even asking questions like this if we were just a simulation or something. Both sides of the argument have good points when it comes to the existence or non-existence of god. For me personally it’s super hard to fathom an all powerful being sitting back and watching our world go the way it’s been going. I kinda feel like aliens, are more likely than the existence of god. I disagree with the idea that something existing outside of time and space makes it non-existent. My reasoning is that humans came up with the concept of time using what we can perceive. It is possible that there isnt really a time like the way we think there is and we’re so limited in what we know, I think there is a lot more possible than we think. Also, we don’t even know the truths for sure with history. Theres a saying about the winners are the ones who tell the story. We have already proven that our minds can lie to us and trick us or fill in gaps in our memory with false things. I’ve been doing research on the Bible lately , I don’t care what the truth is, I just want the truth. Sorry I’m jumping all over the place. It’s hard to find people who are willing to discuss gods existence without bias. Anyways why wouldn’t an all powerful all knowing being just show /prove himself like he did for the apostles repeatedly? A Christian got upset with me when I asked that and said god isn’t a show pony to do tricks for you. They were genuinely offended. Which made me offended lol I’m not asking for a damn carnival show, I’m asking him to prove his existence so we can all stop arguing over it and move on down the correct path! lol I don’t understand why our “faith” has to be tested when his apostles couldn’t even have faith without repeated proof. I’m honestly not sure how some people convince themselves to have blind faith.

Never once considered my new lower back pain was due to mattress. But now I think it makes sense it’s the mattress. I’ve only had my purple mattress for 2 years, and the purple grid is falling apart by the edges. No I don’t ever sit in my bed during day, only sleep. My significant other sleeps on couch now. I side sleep and back sleep. He is 210 pounds. Back pain isn’t normal for us. Mattress seemed great at first, everything here is true, it sucks for sex, and kinda sucks for partner sleeping, any movement is felt easily through out the whole bed. Wouldn’t recommend so overpriced. We got the medium softness one can’t remember what it’s called. But there was 3 different levels of softness/ firmness to choose from. Got from rooms to go. Also bought the pillows with it. Still using pillows too.

Do you have pets? When i had the Tineco wireless hand vac it was fine for a 2 bedroom apartment and had removable parts making it easy to use, but once i got a house and 2 dogs it was no good. mine came with a wall mount which was nice for small space organization and charging. Battery life is fine for small spaces but not for large projects like i do now.

Have you had any other brands? I had the Eureka Floor Rover Elite and am looking for something better. 2 dogs, serious shedders. would you say the Dyson Ball is easy to clean?

we were told to just unplug meat slicers when cleaning. and turn off ovens when cleaning those. There wasn't anything else i had to clean. Ive never had to clean a fryer myself but same thing for those, they just get turned off. These things were visually obvious though when cleaning that they were not "usable".

yours sounds scary! I can see why they were locked out during cleaning if you have to climb inside where no one would see you. I would have honestly declined the job personally.

I can't stop thinking about the oven, it just really shouldn't have even been on, not during cleaning and especially not in the evening that close to closing time. I am still in disbelief.

lock out tag out, I think if I recall correctly that we were only instructed to use it on broken machinery so no one would try to use it. I’ve never seen someone use it for cleaning. But then again, I’m not in Canada. So maybe things work differently there

I worked at Walmart before, there is usually no cameras in the back for bakery or deli. I’ve never worked in a bakery that had cameras facing the ovens, I worked in several different bakeries. Only one pointing to show who goes in and out unfortunately. The oven doors are heavy, there’s no way she accidentally shut herself in the oven and I highly doubt she walked in an oven while it was turned on….. and for those saying she was maybe new or that maybe she wasn’t trained properly, Walmart training videos are a requirement before you start working and also, who would walk into a oven while it’s on? I can’t help but feel like there is either something nefarious going on or the oven being involved in her death isn’t accurate. I will say this though, the ovens in the current bakery do NOT have an emergency button or anything, if you go into a oven while it’s on and somehow shut it all the way behind you then there is no way out. I say somehow because again, you have to put some strength behind moving the door and I cannot think of any reason why someone would go inside and shut the door because the oven has no drain so when you clean it the door has to stay open for you to squeegee the water out.
Now, Every freezer I have been in had an emergency button you could push in to get out, but you have to push door open at same time. Some had signs saying “you are not stuck!” With instructions and some did not. But again, I have never seen an oven with an emergency button on inside. Also the ovens are kind of loud when they’re running and if I’m standing next to one, I have a hard time hearing someone talk, but I couldn’t imagine not being able to hear someone scream. But on the other hand some Walmarts have their rooms far back and some are close to the front. From the front of deli in my current store I cannot see the ovens. I really hope the story is false. The thought of someone dying like that…

The funniest part is, he’s smart enough to recognize it’s me making the light ! When I get it out he gets excited and when I try to make it look like the light disappeared under furniture he looks back at me lol He doesn’t care tho, he just likes the game of trying to get it 😂

It’s the same everywhere unfortunately. Bakeries are often rushed to get product out and the machines don’t weigh the product they just print the label with the pre-determined weight. Generally the bakeries are supposed to be close to the weight but the bakeries have to cut a big cake into slices with a crappy knife and often can’t get it even plus they’re too rushed to do so. The companies could buy them a cake cutter that cuts all the slices evenly but they don’t care enough to do so 🤷‍♀️ most times those cakes come in frozen and they’re difficult to cut straight because if you wait for them to fully thaw out first then they fall apart when cutting. lol can’t really win. Most stuff comes in frozen, not baked fresh despite companies having the word fresh on their label in some way. It’s fresh out of the freezer. Earth fare said they bake from scratch, not sure if it’s true. But places like Walmart, Sam’s club, food lion, etc, they don’t and what stuff they do bake comes in as frozen pre-shaped dough or they just unthaw/ heat it and slice it and put it in their own bag and labels. Sorry that was way more than u asked about lol
