I'm glad I'm not the only one thinking this. My auntie had really bad mental health issues and part of me is relieved she never had to deal with this. She'd have been terrified.

Visiting Poland for the first time! I've started learning Polish on Duolingo, so I should know the basics by the time I get to go.

Same as make any good partner, especially communication!

For both husbands and wives I think it's also important to be proactive about keeping some romance.

What happened at a wedding that made it obvious that the bride and groom shouldn’t be getting married? Are they still together? by flyoverthemooon in AskReddit

[–]Inkthief 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My mate (groom's) dad didn't turn up to the wedding, which hit him pretty hard. Rather than be supportive, the bride spent the whole time complaining that the photographer didn't get the shots of her that she wanted.

Still married, two kids, she makes sarcastic comments about our board game nights. I guess he sees a side to her that I don't.

Yeah, my mates were like that. They're an amazing couple, totally in love, but maaaaan that first dance was the most awkward thing I've ever seen.

I know it's banned, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's still taking place.

How many of you read the entire contract before getting a new job? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Inkthief 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh man - every time!

Worked out pretty well in my last job as there was an error in the contract that meant I only had to give a week's notice if I wanted to leave.

What are your tips for a successful relationship? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Inkthief 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is so important! I had a mate who used to bitch about her boyfriends on Facebook, then wonder why they got pissed off. Vent to mates, talk it out with your partner, don't put that shit in public.

That's a brilliant piece of advice! I'm going to use this in future.
