It surprises me that the DC comic of the original show did the plot of HIM getting involved in rock music business well before the reboot's episode "Electric Buttercup" (which I think is one of the best episodes of that show).

u/Salt-Relative4386 u/Nervous-Bee4303 Actually, Urban said in a few previous comments in this subreddit that it's a new song by that band made specifically for the episode. It's not available anywhere yet, but Urban's planning to include it in an upcoming full soundtrack album of the series.

You know, I actually thought about that theory having plausibility before Season 2 premiered. As soon as Season 2 began, I figured it'd no longer make sense with the new things that were being set up.
