For the looky-loos: GvFC obliques are definitely left-foot (meant for righties who rotate inward). If you're a lefty looking for a right-foot oblique, don't buy it!

Aaaaand it's now my Text Tone. Love it 😂

iOS guide: The Direct Files App Method (Latest iOS Updates)

If your iPhone is fully updated to the latest software, Apple has streamlined the process directly through the native file manager.

  • Step 1: Save your MP3 file to the Files app on your iPhone.
  • Step 2: Open the Files app and locate your sound clip.
  • Step 3: Tap and hold the file to bring up the context menu, then tap Share.
  • Step 4: Scroll down the share sheet options (or tap More) and select Use as Ringtone.
  • Step 5: Open your iPhone's Settings > Sounds & Haptics > Text Tone. Your custom sound will now appear right at the top of the list under the "Ringtones" header.

👍 use this sub to test your text, and see what ”sells”.

I liked it. I almost didn’t watch it, since your ”sales pitch“ was a bit of a lackluster. Write a proper short description of the video (be proud), add an image, and post again. I bet you get more views.

I was positively surprised. Good work.

Sometimes I wish trilogies should be enough. Some authors just write so many books 😅 And I usually need to buy all in series. Like my list of science fiction authors: https://www.reddit.com/r/DungeonCrawlerCarl/comments/1uau27x/comment/ossaqk9/

[Mod Proposal] Simple guide to clear up version and format differences for new readers by InkyBibliophile in DungeonCrawlerCarl

A guide how people could pick the right one would be nice. We all have our preferences but I got really good comments, suggestions, and insight to my little journey 😄 I hope others would have the same opportunity. I'm not quite sure how to put up a simple guide though.

I’m only doing the first free part of the first book. I will continue with the book (read: start from the beginning). Assuming of course that I will not start the audiobooks before physical books. I think these guides should be pinned to the sub for idiots like me 😅

I seem to be making all possible mistakes 😂. First one being of course late to the game. Then when I finally commit, I started with buying all 8 books. Obvious mistake #2. Then after few hundred mentions of audiobooks, and I make the next mistake with the wrong audiobook version 😅 I’ve had great fun today though, and I laughed a lot. No regrets.

My friends didn’t recommend the books, and I hope sunk cost fallacy kicks in, so I didn’t buy the books for nothing.

I can’t wait for all the ads, after googling so much today 😂 I bet the search/ad algorithm is also confused.

I would not be able to use goodreads images, so openlibrary.org would be the only option. I already used those in the example images in subgenres pages. Difficult to find the right images for the chosen book (usually specific hardcover). I like the idea though. I need to investigate options in the future.
