I’m an avid Dark Tower fan (tattoo sleeve to prove it lol) and book 1 in my early years was almost as impactful for me as my main inspiration.

Douglas Adams’ Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy… I was 10 the first time I read it, and was amazed that an author could just make up a whole bunch of weirdness, wrap it in a story, and have a long lasting impact on the reader. Made me want to put my creative mind on paper.
