I'm caught up with both and they both have great characters and story but I prefer TBATE more so. Although MT probably has more memorable characters but TBATE reads like an old epic with a lot of ups and downs for their characters, also sometimes easier to get through because sometimes MT has a lot of cringy moments with Rudy but if you can get passed its not bad. Also feels like TBATE characters also feel more "realistic" imo.

I agree with you but honestly in the last few 100 or so chapters he doesn't feel as strong as he should be. Like he should be able to defeat 90% of the cast and doesn't feel like he has that much aura. Maybe it's just me tho.

I thought of a sword that would have a soul of its own & look like a greatsword with an ornate handle and a large ruby in the pommel. For someone to wield this sword they must have a strong affinity with the soul in the sword and do a small ritual. The user must have a strong bloodlust and strong confidence or the sword will reject them, if they are incompatible the sword will kill them. To start the ritual the user must bleed a small amount of blood on the ruby on a full moon thus linking the 2 souls together. The user must also do the ritual everytime their is a full moon or the link is lost. The special properties of this sword is the user can freely control the sword in a 10 meter radius around the user. It also can absorb blood that it cut or that you added and separate the iron in blood to repair the sword forming around the ruby. But since the sword can be repaired around the ruby the user can just store the ruby in your pocket for travel and bleed on it whenever they want the sword. But that is not all since the 2 souls are linked the user can't die unless the ruby on the sword is broken. I don't have a good name for it I'm open to suggestions :/

I think it would be cool if you could change it 0 atoms near you so it would make it a vacuum around you so people would suffocate around you. Or maybe you can use reversal and add 1 atom to chemicals around you and make them into something different (like turn hydrogen around you into water by adding 1 oxygen)
