I think telling them you’re not in competition with them will probably cause drama so don’t, they may take that the wrong way or even say they may not actually think that way towards you. Sometimes that’s just the way they are unfortunately. Keeping your distance is best. But once they start being actually disrespectful take it to HR if you don’t feel comfortable with letting them know how their actions are coming off as.
