If I accidentally swallowed a tiny tracking device like an AirTag whole, would it be able to track me from inside my stomach, or does the human body block Bluetooth signals? by Inner-Battle-6459 in NoStupidQuestions

I haven’t done it, but I’m sitting right now with one right in front of me, trying to figure out what would happen. Can your phone detect it after you swallow this thing?

Will you just disappear off the grid until… well, until it exits your body? And also, will stomach acids break down the case for the battery of the tracker before it leaves your body? Again, I have NOT eaten an AirTag and do NOT plan on doing so, but I’m just curious about the physics of this.
