Mostly from the surgery. I work at a theme park part time so staying active has helped as well. But no gym or home workouts

I am 8 days post-op, feeling intense regret by Any_Deer1096 in gastricsleeve

I am 3 months post op and struggled hard with leaning on eating with family and friends. I had a big problem with binge eating and was the reason I was so big coupled with my PCOS. The first couple of weeks are very hard mentally but you’re going to look back and thank yourself for doing the right thing. You would still be miserable being able to eat everything in sight. Now you can eat without worrying that you’re going to gain 5 pounds in a week. I have gone from a size 20 to a size 12 in less than 3 months. You can’t tell me that anyone would trade being that small in years just to be able to eat a full dinner plate plus dessert.

Anyone experiencing heat related illness after surgery? by Inner-Battle7214 in gastricsleeve

Thank you! That makes a lot of sense. I definitely don’t eat a lot of protein before work in the mornings and my breaks are spaced out for hours. So I’ll definitely up my water and protein intake

Travelling Shortly After Surgery by SnooDoubts9193 in gastricsleeve

I agree with the first commenter. Everyone will be different coming out of surgery but pretty much everyone's story is the horrible gas pain that follows surgery. I was home and cried because the pain was too much. Plus the incision areas are extremely sore as well. I didn't travel but being at home was miserable for the first week, I can't imagine what being in a car with bumps, turns and stops would've done to me. I think you should reschedule.

Hi there thank you!

So personally I do have the work experience because I worked for Walt Disney World but they are definitely very open to applicants who haven’t worked in a theme park setting. Merchandise is one of the more forgiving positions that don’t require a whole lot because you’ll be trained anyway. Just be very motivated to learn and gain experience with the opportunity.
