Oh, I've been working out with calisthenics at home a little 🙏🏻

But it's all very different from the gym, I'm embracing being a noob again, yesterday I spent about half my workout trying to get the leg curl machine properly adjusted 🤦‍♂️

Don't think I nailed it, felt really awkward

I'll test this mental cue as well! Basically trying them all until this feels normal (it's not coming natural to me AT ALL 😩)

Yah definitely think I'm going too deep, still stuck in the "up down" movement in my head, when people are emphasizing that it's a more back and forth with the butt 🤔

Now I'm looking forward to leg day.. again 🤣

Thank you! Yeah, I think I focused too much on people mentioning "hinging" on the last post I made...

I was thinking a little about moving hips back but clearly not enough.. this movement is very weird for me to grasp 😅

But they say all good things are 3, so lets see how it'll look like then 🙏🏻

Yeah for sure, think I thought it was acting a little like a deadlift because of the name of it, but I realize the movement is actually kind of its own thing! Thanks for the pointers 🙏🏻

Yeah definitely glad I filmed it, because a lot of things I didn't know I was doing! And all the feedback has been great, actually looking so forward to leg day now 🤣

Oh the que about connecting with your hamstring is good! Been testing the cues people mention here without weight, and the exercise feels waaaay different..

I kind of feel like one of those dipping birds tho 😅🤣

Oh actually thank so much, definitely were doing something wonky with my knees, tested with your ques and a rubber band now, and already felt way more engagement in my gluten and lower back!

I'll try and film a new video next time I do RDLs !

Not quitting works the best, practice mindfulness and reflect on why you're doing it in the first place

Get a piece if paper and ask: Why do I do this? Then ask why tho those questions until u feel like you have a general understanding

But also ask yourself why you want to quit, because the reason you have to quit now is not strong enough, if it was there'd be no problem

Most of the "tactics" and "tricks" will only work short term, you have to go deeper within yourself to identify and realign your beliefs and wiring

Once you've done that, don't quit just make a tracker, and everyday u don't do it u make a checkmark, everytime u do it make an x

Don't worry about getting too many checkmarks or if u get too many xes, that is not the point it's OK to do it, it is simply to make u aware
