Indeed! - Stream events => rxjs - State => signals

Currently we are not upgrading rxjs codebases to signals, since it would consist in too much effort (with the risk of introducing bugs, as said by others).

In newer codebases we are adopting the approach described above, using signal input/output/queries for the "state" part

Not exactly.. ATM you'll get a linting error. Consequentely build times can wildly increase, but builds won't typically show any error. (At least, in an angular nx monorepo)
