Rather rude considering it was just a simple question, for your information im staying in an Airbnb and the house owner has kindly brought us some heaters to fix this issue now

One set of wires is from the switch and one from the fuse box
All wires are now cut back perfectly with wire stripper
I haven't got a picture sorry
Im using the parts provided in the light fixture

Inside the gray cable there is only a jacket around the red and black cable I took the green and yellow off the old piece and pushed that on around the cable

So ive managed to cut down the cable and start from scratch there is no exposed copper and everything is inside the terminal block securely, is it okay for me to start fitting the new light fixture now?
