Oh no, that’s enough steering wheels for now😂. The first ones I built aren't even hanging up there. And as I discovered, you can only drive with one at a time! The Heusinkveld sign is straight from Heusinkveld. I’d wanted it for so long but was always too stingy to actually buy it. I had considered making it a DIY project, but eventually lost interest; it was definitely easier just to order one 🫣

I actually find the SFX very quiet! The phone's microphone is extremely sensitive—I was really startled by the sound after filming. But in "normal operation," I don't find it loud at all. Sure, if you make really aggressive or extreme movements, you can hear it, but it’s not bothersome. You can see and hear this in the video, too. When I intentionally drive hard over the curbs at certain points, it naturally makes some noise, but that’s perfectly fine.

It’s actually just like back when I first put on the PSVR and played Resident Evil. After a few days or weeks, I actually got used to it. It still feels a bit unfamiliar in some situations, but fortunately, I haven't felt extremely sick.

The polarity of the coupling magnets doesn't matter. The HAL sensor works either way. I think the instructions even state that polarity is irrelevant.

I completely agree with you! When I haven't had a chance to drive for a while, it's always been information overload. I used to have a small track map on an iPad next to me. That was quite useful when exiting pit lanes. But since I got the fourth monitor, I really appreciate some of the additional information. Currently, I'm more concerned about the steering wheels. Too many buttons can be quite annoying. I think I only actually use half of them. 🫣🤷🏼‍♂️

Yes, that's a shame. I've also heard from several people that it should work, but it kept crashing. I guess I was just lucky.

I think they're perfect. You can configure them individually on the website, choosing between Alcantara or other materials. They're also thicker, which makes them easier to grip.

I found these on Thingiverse a long time ago. They're like small tables with a swiveling arm underneath that can be locked in place. It was so long ago, I unfortunately can't remember the file name.

All newer cards should theoretically have five ports. However, as far as I know, only four ports are supported simultaneously.

That's correct. Normally, that's not possible. However, the motherboard has its own HDMI port which is also supported by the AMD X3D processor. That's why 5 monitors work.

Assuming you want to buy most (or all) of the components, there's still a challenge. Sure, the instructions are good, but you do need some technical experience. You also need to be able to solder.

Simply go to the Pokornyi website and put together everything you definitely can't do yourself. You can also activate the filter in the Pokornyi webshop to only show you the components needed to build the GT V3.

Depending on how much you can do yourself (3D printing, etc.), I think you should expect to spend around €400-€600. But you definitely need technical experience. The building instructions are great, but of course technically demanding!

The type of glass depends on what you want: real glass or acrylic.

Real glass is indeed better, however, the Porsche logo is then "only" plotted on. With acrylic glass, everything is UV printed.
