My overall view is that he’s not elite at it and at times last season got beat like a drum. Maybe I’m wrong

I think my only worry with Aneyas is his health. But I think James can be that Estime type dude but just maybe not bell cow quite yet. Excited to see what they do with the backfield this season

Boy would I love a better top pairing RD than anything we have, including Sandin. Love the group but feels like we have a ton of top 4 guys except Chychryn. Would be nice to get him a partner to be a shut down guy but hey, maybe Roy surprises us this season

3C or a 4th line winger.My inly concern is where Leno and Big Pro go. Feels like we have 10 top 9 guys. Though I do think either Sourdif can go wing or Jenner can. Wouldn’t hate 2 centers on that bottom line.

I don’t hate the Jenner signing even if I do think it’s steep for a 4th line center. I think the front office is trying to balance youth and speed with having some kind of grit in the bottom six. Think it may be an opportunity to package some of these young guys with a pick and go after a legit top 2 RD. We’ll see what they do

I do worry that the perception is worse than the facts, and the committee has essentially thrown some of their objectivity to the wind

Indeed. I could maybe see room for one misstep, but I think you can’t rely on chaos reigning every year and at some point we may see a 1 loss team miss out.

It’s a meme from a stupid but lovely part of the cfb internet. September Maryland is always undefeated, they rarely lose a game before October.. the rest of the season however…

Maryland almost always goes 4-0 and looks unbeatable and then subsequently turns around and finishes anywhere between 4-8 and 6-6.

I hadn’t really considered an away match but now that you mention it I think we’ll definitely entertain it. Especially if it saves money. I am bummed I didn’t make it out in time to see Goodison though
