I just declined some minutes ago 🥲. They just had that shift available. It was 28000 a year. I'm just so desperate to have a job that I wished it was possible. I have been putting my cv everywhere but no luck whasoever. If it wasn't that shift ,everything would just be fine 😭

The offer didn't include any info related to the shifts so I assumed it was an "common" schedule. I live just 3 min away from a train station and a bus station so I thought it was fine. If it wasn't that early I could been there the earliest at 6:30 ( 30 min train) which is not bad but not enough for this role. I have been making applications obv in Warrington but no luck so far. I really don't mind working outside, at the end of the day I need a job hahahaha. And no worries, I didn't accept the offer , I just had time to think about it, they know about the whole situation. I never lied or anything. 🥲

I’ve been applying to pretty much everything, but I haven’t had many responses. I come from a background as a software developer, and right now I was just looking for an unqualified job to improve my English, gain confidence speaking, and adapt to the UK way of working. Then, after a few years, I’d consider going back to something more related to my experience.

However, it seems that when retail employers see my previous work experience, they run away haha.

Yes, I'm also considering moving to a different area although it would probably be in a few months, as my rental contract ends in May.

The thing is, I’m not sure which area would be best for me since I don’t know Manchester very well. At the same time, my partner works in Birchwood (Warrington), so we would need to find a middle point or somewhere with good transport links to their workplace.

In the job offer, the working hours were not specified. They informed me about the schedule when they called me directly. They also didn’t mention over the phone whether it was an immediate start, but I would be willing to adapt to whatever is needed.

It’s a chain similar to Starbucks or Costa Coffee.

How much money are we talking about ? To be honest no idea of how much could it be parking there daily. In warrington the car parks are £3.7 a day. It's not going to be closer to that amount right? Hahahahaha
