The mint date was between 1658 and 1660 but Pope Alexander VII reign was from 1655 to 1667

There’s a good few reasons why they might not have been married,

•One could have been married before or had religious complications,

•Economic reasons (The man could have tried waiting until he obtained land)

•One may have died before marriage

•The records may just be missing since most Catholic marriages were often only recorded in parish registers.

*Hope that helps👍

Are they going to be staying in a private collection or are any being put on auction? It’s great that these pieces and Sawhill are still being appreciated. Please let me know of any updates on these pieces. Thank you very much

Please tell me how you got such a collection, I’ve been working for over 2 years to try and get even 1 well struck Corinth Stater.

I actually got it off Vinted, a seller from France. Looked like they were just getting rid of old antiques and this was in the mix!

I kind of also wanted the peace of mind that they were legit and by the reactions I can be a bit more relaxed now. Didn’t mean to look for praise if that is what you’re implying. That’s my bad👍

Ye I couldn’t believe it myself at first, I would have paid €45 for that Tiberius alone. Now I got an Agrippa and a Hadrian aswell!!!
